This ”New York Mets”-inspired Dunk High SB is the latest edition, along with the ”Phillies” Dunk Low SB , is a member of an upcoming ”Bubble Gum” pack from Nike SB.
This upcoming Dunk sports a combination mesh and suede grey upper with orange and royal complemetary hues, taking its cue from the Metropolitans away gamers. Backing the tongues are the the number 7, an allusion to the stadium’s 7 line subway exit and on the other Citi Field’s Homerun Apple.
The aesthetic is completed by a white midsole and a gum rubber outsole, with a spot of pink on the right heel, representing the bubble gum chewed by players.
The ”New York Mets” Nike Dunk High SB is planned to make their retail debut this summer at nike.com and select skate shops. More information on these will be provided as it avails itself.
